yoursaveur ("we", "us", "our") turns recipe videos into clean, structured recipes. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. By using yoursaveur you agree to the practices described here.

2. Information we collect

Account information. When you create an account we collect your email address and basic profile details so we can sign you in and sync your saved recipes.

Content you submit. When you paste a link or upload a clip, we process that video URL or file solely to extract the recipe. We do not republish your videos or share them with other users.

Usage data. We collect limited, aggregated data such as the number of scans used, device type, and app interactions to keep yoursaveur reliable and to improve it.

Payment data. Purchases are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number — Stripe processes payments on our behalf.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to extract recipes from the videos you submit, save them to your collection, process scan purchases, provide support, prevent abuse, and improve the quality of our extraction over time. We never sell your personal information.

4. How we share information

We share information only with service providers that help us operate yoursaveur — such as Stripe for payments, cloud hosting for storage, and AI providers used strictly to process the videos you submit. These providers are bound by contractual obligations to protect your data and may only use it to perform services for us.

5. Data retention

We keep your account and saved recipes for as long as your account is active. Submitted videos are processed transiently and are not retained once a scan completes. You can delete your account at any time, after which your personal data is removed from our active systems.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@saveur.app and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

7. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards — including encryption in transit — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work continuously to keep your data safe.

8. Children's privacy

yoursaveur is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date below and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
